GCBR Recruitment

This is an exciting time for the Gouritz Cluster Biosphere Reserve (GCBR):  recruitment for three top positions in a new organisational set up.  This core team will spearhead an expansion of programme diversity and outreach as well as playing critical roles in the organisation’s development from its volunteer-driven history to one run by full-time professional staff.  GCBR’s core staffing will be complemented by project leaders responsible for implementing different initiatives.  These project posts will be advertised separately.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE

Reporting to the Board of Directors, responsible for overall leadership, coordination and integration of project efforts/results, public and peer-group representation, operational accountability.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, responsible for project development, grant prospecting, innovation and acquisition and quality of reporting.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, holds responsibility for drawing and communicating lessons from the GCBR’s work through projects which have learning investments linked to an evaluation system.
